Samungs new phone includes projector galaxy beam


Samsung just announced the Galaxy Beam. A Smartphone featuring a projector.

Tech specs:

- 1GHz dual-core CPU
- 6GB RAM (seriously?)
- 4.0-Inch, 480*800 display
- 5MP rear, 1.3MP front camera
- 8GB built-in storage + microSD slot
- Android 2.3
- 2000 mAh battery
- 15 lumen projector

The projector supposedly gives you a 50" high def picture, which is quite impressive. And according to Samsung it will only be 12.5mm thick (Comparison: Apples iPhone 4S: 9.3mm, Samsung Galaxy S2: 8.5mm).
I dont think that there really is a big market for a phone like that, but for some it might be a nice gadget. Though Im pretty sure that the 6GB RAM is a mistake.
