Secretary Clinton Visits Burma November 30 December 2 Photos
U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton arrived in Nay Pyi Taw to begin her historic visit to Burma on November 30. She was greeted by Burmese Deputy Foreign Minister Dr. Myo Myint upon her arrival. During her visit, she met with Burmese President U Thein Sein and Burmese First Lady, Daw Khin Khin Win, the Speaker of the Lower House of Parliament U Shwe Mann and other officials. She also met with local and international press and with opposition politician, Aung San Suu Kyi.
